18 Influencers to Watch in 2020

2019 was a breakout year for influencers like @charlidamelio and @lilhuddy. We also saw mid-tier influencers like @emmaleger and @nitsanraiter continue to slay the game, and make Canadians everywhere look good. This year, we’re seeing brands making more moves on Tiktok, spreading budgets amongst micro-influencers > macro, and looking for more diverse faces to represent them. Found out I was pregnant at 20 and became a mom at 21. I hid my pregnancy for 6 months because I so badly did not want to become another statistic nor be a victim of society's negative perceptions of young moms. Anyway, here we are 4 years later and feeling so blessed that God gifted me this journey that SO many young women go through everyday - some by choice and some by surprise. Young parenthood is often met with a ton of negativity and people sharing their opinions that nobody asked for. So, thought'd I'd share a few things I LOVE about being a young mama 😌 - - 1. I get to spend more TIME with my kid. And, so do his grandparents and great-grandparents ♥️ 2. I have plenty of time to have more kids in the future without any burden or pressure. 3. I get to be a "kid" with my kid 🤷‍♀️ 4. I've learned valuable adult lessons earlier. 5. I've taken life risks that I probably wouldn't have had I not become a mom at a young age. 6. And, let's face it - I probably have more energy now than I will when I'm 35 😅 - - Anyway, sharing this today because society loves to emphasize the cons of young parenthood which is incredibly stigmatizing.
