18 Influencers to Watch in 2020
2019 was a breakout year for influencers like @charlidamelio and @lilhuddy. We also saw mid-tier influencers like @emmaleger and @nitsanraiter continue to slay the game, and make Canadians everywhere look good. This year, we’re seeing brands making more moves on Tiktok, spreading budgets amongst micro-influencers > macro, and looking for more diverse faces to represent them. From influencers we love working with, to influencers we love following, here’s our list of 18 influencers to watch in 2020:

Kelly is a self-love advocate who shares weekly Therapy Thursday stories about recovery, self-worth & relationships. With 140k+ followers on IG (and 18k subs on YT), we heard she’s dropping a podcast in 2020…
2. @stylecrone
Judith is a 75 year old fashion blogger in Denver. Her style and confidence has amassed her over 50k followers on IG, and avid blog readers who follow her journey.
3. @plussizebarbieofficial
Lyndsay is a plus-size fashion influencer, whose style hauls have garnered 3.2+ million views on YT. As the industry finally grows more size inclusive, she’s one to watch in 2020.
4. @onlyjayus
Isabella Avila rose to Tiktok fame in 2019, with 3 million+ followers for her funny and informative psychology videos. She’s been called the female Bill Nye of Gen Z, and the hype is only going to grow in 2020.
5. @nintendo.grl
The Tiktok CEO of gamer grls, Joanne’s kawaii style and super pink aesthetic has gained her 958k on Tiktok and a blue checkmark. She also has 41k subs on YT with just 2 videos.
6. @gabe.scobar
Gabe grew his Tiktok audience of 1.4+ million sharing mostly wholesome, relatable content. But he’s also a talented singer and musical theatre performer who we predict will sweep the hype in 2020.
7. @heybriajones
Bria is a fashion & lifestyle content creator based in Kansas City. Her style videos and relatable personality catapulted her to 86k followers on Tiktok in 2019. (Also, her neutral aesthetic has us sold).
8. @mattredwards
Matt is a Toronto-based content creator. In an industry largely focused on female influencers and women’s style, Matt brings quality content to men’s fashion.
9. @danichain
Formerly at Buzzfeed, Daniela is a freelance social media director and lifestyle content creator. This fellow Latina is based in NYC, and is one of our favourite micro-influencers to follow.
10. shotstoshakes
Rachel Brady is the co-host of 1000 Hours Dry, creating educational and uplifting content. A mental health advocate and sober influencer, Rachel has also blown up on Tiktok for sharing her experiences in a relatable and entertaining way.

Sarah is a Montreal-based fashion influencer. Her motto is that fashion is for everybody and every body. Having been to NYFW and worked with many big brands, we predict this will be her breakout year.
12. @austentosone
Austen is a NYC blogger and beauty content director @letsjumprope. As a former magazine editor and freelance writer, she has unique industry insight and shares a ton of helpful info re: pitching and monetizing content.

Izzy is an up-and-coming fashion influencer who’s following has taken off in 2019. Her aesthetic mixes high-end with carefree, and she somehow makes it all feel effortless. We can see her becoming the next big thing…

Karly is a lifestyle content creator, and host of the Hey B*tches podcast. Her confidence shines through in her Tiktok videos, which have hit 3million views in the past month. We heard she’s moving to LA this year, so def keep her on your radar…

Rachel is a Toronto-based content creator. Beyond her super aesthetic personal account, she also runs @selflovesupply which celebrates mental health, body love, and intersectional feminism.

Yasmeen is not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom. Like, actually. This style influencer has a fun and trendy aesthetic and we can’t wait to see more of her content in 2020.

CEO of pink! Karley’s feed is a cotton candy dream, and is the perfect match for brands looking to promote pink products. Karley is based in Toronto.

Shawnaci is an Illinois-influencer whose style and aesthetic is #beigegoals. This neutral queen blends athleisure and streetwear, serving lowkey fashion inspo that looks easy and attainable - but somehow still way too cool for us?
